Engineering for everyone.
Engineering for everyone
By Pedro Ocampo.
It is known that, in our actual society, adequate living conditions are not equally distributed. Some countries count on more economic power due to the great scientific advances provided by a quality educational system. On the other hand, a lot more countries do not have these benefits because they face a more difficult scenario.
But why does this happen? This is a very common subject in debates and assemblies around the world but although these assemblies had found some of the main causes, none of them have solved anything. So in this blog, we are going to abord this subject and we will offer a solution using engineering knowledge.
Many of the third-world countries' main problems are related to unemployment; therefore one thing I would like to do is founding a technology enterprise that would apport with important technological advances to low prices accessible to everyone. Also, this foundation would give jobs to unemployed people by providing them with the necessary training and advice to enable them to perform a good job.
Also, part of this initiative will be founding a university that would provide quality education to the third-world countries' population. Obviously, all of this will need an important and solid economic base for this, the enterprise would start as a small business looking to grow slowly and the part of the university would be supported by the government and mainly private investment.
This idea would be an important contribution to third-world countries looking for gradual economic growth, based on a solid educational system.
